Ardnamurchan Peninsula (the most westerly point on the British mainland) is one of the last unspoilt areas of Scotland's wilderness.

The wildlife of the area ranges from species such as the otter and pine-marten to deer, wildcat, golden eagle and the common grey seal.

Moidart is known as Bonnie Prince Charlie country as he came into Kinlochmoidart in August 1745 landing at Caisteal Tioram en route from France and set sail up Loch Shiel from Dalilea to Glenfinnan, where he raised the Royal Stuart Standard.

In excess of forty hill lochs to choose from
Black Penil , Soldier Palmer, Peter Ross, a basket of brown trout, a bar meal and pint after enjoying the beauty of a West Highland Hill Loch. And finish off with a dram and a Ceilidh What more could you want!

Alternatively we are able to offer Brown Trout and Sea Trout fishing on Loch Shiel, boat and engine available .

Best time for Hill Loch Brown Trout fishing are April, May, June and July.
