The
Clanranald is a small family run hotel situated in Moidart,
the gateway to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and overlooking
Loch Shiel, with views towards Ben Resipol and Acharacle.
The
hotel offers salmon fishing in the famous river Shiel.
With five rods available weekly from may to september.
Full board and salmon fishing for 1 week - £600/person.
Salmon fishing parties - up to a max of 5 most welcome!

Coach
parties very welcome - lunches, teas and coffees. Ample
coach parking facilities.
Family
run - the hotel is the home of traditional ceilidh music
in the West Highlands. The owner, Fergie
MacDonald, is the leading button-key accordionist
of traditional music in the West Highlands at the moment
and live music is provided at weekends.
The
warm lounge bar is well stocked with large range whiskeys
liquors wines and beer.
The
restaurant offers a wide range of fayre, from local
seafood, salmon and wild venison to traditional fish
and chips and supplies vegetarian meals if required.
There
is a small residents' lounge, where guests can unwind
and relax.
All
five bedrooms are en-suite, have tea and coffee making
facilities and colour television.
Ironing
and shoe-cleaning facilities are available as well as
the use of a hair-dryer. There is ample car parking
space available. Ceilidhs are a regular attraction,
with any musicians welcome to join in.
